Modified Growth Releasing Factor aminos 1-29, commonly called Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF (1-29), and also recognized as CJC-1295 without DAC, is a synthetic version of the natural peptide signaling hormone, Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH).
CJC-1295 no DAC is a long-lasting GHRH analog. Growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), which is also known as growth-hormone-releasing factor (GRF or GHRF) or somatocrinin, consists of 44 amino acids and is synthesized in the hypothalamus by the arcuate nucleus. It induces the pituitary gland to release growth hormone (GH). GHRH is secreted in a pulsatile fashion, which in turn prompts the pulsatile release of GH. Additionally, this substance aids in promoting slow-wave sleep. The functional segment of this GRF or GHRH peptide is a 29-amino acid peptide referred to as GHRH 1-29. The rhythmic release of various peptides is influenced by the negative feedback loop inherent in the hGH axis, which regulates the amount of hGH produced by the body to maintain homeostasis.
Research on CJC-1295 no DAC in vivo and findings published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism have demonstrated that it can elevate mean plasma GH levels by 2-10 times for over 6 days, alongside an increase in IGF-1 concentrations by 1.5-3 times for 9-11 days following a single injection.
